ABOUT THE ROLE

Do you have a background in Customer Service and Administration? Are you eager to stay or move into the Logistics/Fleet industry? Are you a driven, friendly and hard working professional looking to make a change? This is a very rare opportunity to join one of Australia’s most reputable logistics company, based out of Tullamarine, VIC, we are on the hunt for a Radio Room Ops Clerk who wants to be part of an exciting, ever changing and transforming organisation.

Ideally, the successful candidate will work closely with site management to provide operational and administrative assistance with all clerical tasks. The role improves end user customer service through expedient processing of returned freight and improves revenue by ensuring no revenue leakage occurs from second delivery charges.

 

ABOUT YOU

You will work to improve operational efficiencies to service and safety by facilitating operational team leaders to be on the floor monitoring/planning loads, OH&S procedures and CoR procedures.

A Typical Day Would Involve

  • Office Administration and Data entry (sub dockets, driver return times, count in fleet sheet, pigeon hole timesheets, premium subs-contractors, TEAM –STE Subs, Resigns)
  • Answer phone and address customer enquiry as required (missing freight, missed book-ins, assist account manager with enquiries.)
  • Freight Processing
  • Daily generation and action of Operations and Regional Reports
  • Maintaining oversight of all invoicing
  • Providing clerical support for Branches and Managers
  • Maintain current knowledge of safe work practices

 

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Has worked in a large, multi-division organisation with well-defined process, protocols and authority levels
  • Experience in Customer Service is desirable
  • Experience working within Logistics/Fleet is advantageous but not essential
  • Sound organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment
