About the opportunity 
 
Supporting the lead up to Australia Post’s busiest time of year, we have forklift opportunities from August 2022, with potential for long term employment. Based at our Australia Post 24/7 facilities, you’ll work with colleagues across our processing and deliveries teams to keep the cogs turning. Safely operating a forklift and also sorting product on the floor, you will support with loading parcels/pallets for our delivery and transport drivers to head out on the road. If you enjoy variety, then this combination operations role is one for you.

About You

• Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Hold a valid LF Forklift License
• Be fit enough to lift/load and unload mail/parcel items of all different shapes and sizes frequently around our facilities and into trucks
• Be safety-focused, willing to undergo a vehicle assessment and pre-employment checks (medical, drug/alcohol screening and national police checks)
• You’re a self-starter that enjoys working in a busy operations environment
• You enjoy connecting with others in the community to support us to deliver on time, and like never before
