Customer Experience and Digital?
The purpose of Customer Experience and Digital is to create products that people love and trust, while delivering a sustainable future for Australia Post. The business unit is responsible for managing and transforming our enterprise products, innovation and digital capability. The five key areas that Customer Experience and Digital is responsible for include Customer Services, Digital and Data, Data Science, Identity Products & Services and Payments & Financial Services with Portfolio Strategy, Innovation and Engineering providing technical expertise across these portfolios.
What does the role involve?
The Business Analyst works within a team to facilitate the end-to-end lifecycle of a solution from requirements definition to delivery.This role works in close partnership with relevant business stakeholders to facilitate idea development, feature elaboration, prioritisation, and delivery. The Business Analyst captures the business requirements, documents them in a consistent, complete and useful way. The Business Analyst offers guidance and advice on solution delivery and Agile processes and ways of working to ensure that the development team understands the requirements clearly and the solution developed is of value to the business or the customer.
Strategy & Execution
• Develops Business Requirements and Non-Functional Requirements• Provides high-level evaluation of requirements for business programs and projects, which includes business process re-engineering, cost-benefit analysis, recommended solutions, and business requirements development. Verifies and validates at senior levels of the business• Develops documentation that correctly reflects current functionality, operating procedures and processes.
Customer & Innovation
• Offer creative, innovative, data-based solutions by focusing on forward progress and creativity, even when working through complex, often competing needs• Demonstrate strong focus and consideration of customer needs and customer experience targets
Essential Experience & Knowledge
• 2 – 5 years of Business Analyst experience• Understands terms, concepts, and way of working.• Able to facilitate workshops, presentations, and team activities
Specific position requirements
• A strong BA with good stakeholder engagement skills working with a variety of product and pricing business and IT stakeholders.• Strong analysis skills. Desirable, but not necessary to have past Australia Post or Pricing experience; however, the candidate should be keen to gain product pricing knowledge with a view to become a business analyst with product pricing SME in the longer term.
