About the role 

The purpose of this role is to coordinate the Startrack Courier WA Contract Logistics fleet. This role has a key focus to managing the daily workflow, ensuring customer expectations are met while ensuring safety and performance are achieved. This role also involves supporting the WA customer service team taking inbound calls, customer bookings and contractor enquiries.

Shift Details: Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:30 pm.

 

What will you be doing? 

• Despatching contract logistic bookings to our fleet contractors via the despatch master software platform to manage service outcomes over 99% across multiple customers and service offers

• Liaise with Customer over the telephone, primarily, to ensure that job changes, cancellations and finer details are achieved to ensure that efficient and timely creation of jobs in our despatching system


• Provides daily reporting on the previous day’s performance across the fleet and  follow up with non-conforming drivers and coach them and where needed conduct difficult conversations about improving compliance

What you’ll have:

  • You must effectively and efficiently allocate  jobs to the fleet of 100 Contractors Partners to ensure that high Delivery in Full On-Time (DIFOT) is achieved
  • You will also draw on the Contract Logistics fleet drivers to help with completion of ad hoc Courier work on time.
  • You must not only know suburbs of Perth, but you must know best routes to take and have a high knowledge of the street and road network.
  • The incumbent will be required to perform higher duties as Operations Supervisor, during times of planned/unplanned leave – so previous Supervisor experience in dealing with the challenges of leadership is preferred.
  • Effective communication with Teammates, our Contractor Fleet, and other stakeholders to ensure work is allocated efficiently and monitored to finality to achieve Same day Courier service standards.
