What will you be doing?

Lead our Application Support activities (Level 3) required to deliver IT solutions that meet the business needs. You will be part of team who manages number of applications and micro-services deployed on AWS and GCP with software engineering mindset.

What would you bring to the role?

  • Demonstrated experience with development and maintenance of Python and Java based applications (Python, Spring Boot, Hibernate)
  • Possess strong stakeholder engagement skills, with an ability to build meaningful relationships with internal/external partners
  • Proven experience working with and supporting high traffic/transactional applications
  • Experience designing, developing, supporting and maintaining cloud native applications using containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of source code management and CI/CD principles allowing application source code to be built, packaged, versioned and deployed
  • Demonstrated experience with automation testing frameworks to test functional and integration requirements at code level
  • Demonstrated experience using technical practices such as writing clean, testable code, TDD and pair programming
  • Software development experience using secure coding practices to mitigate common vulnerabilities

You will encourage and assist with fostering a strong DevOps culture within the organisation and have a natural ability to build and maintain relationships with other teams to deliver cohesive customer-focused outcomes.
