The Community & Consumer team has end to end accountability for identifying, anticipating and satisfying customer and community requirements – from market research, marketing planning to brand positioning and product placement. We’re also strategically oversee advertising, promotional activities and understanding and influencing community and public relationships.

What does the role involve?

This role is in the Digital Analytics team that sits within the Digital & Data Performance team and reports to the Senior Manager - Platform Strategy & Integration.

The role will involve partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to design and implement the appropriate optimisations and provide insights that help Australia Post deliver on our vision to create a simple, easy and more meaningful experience for our customers. The role may also assist in other analytics functions such as campaign management and dashboarding

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Excellent optimisation skills, and strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • An aptitude and passion for optimising customer experiences and using data to uncover insights
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, stakeholder management and expectation management
  • Ability to bring both technical knowledge and business awareness to the role.

What are the key responsibilities?

  • Provide leadership and current best practice across optimisation, product recommendations and analytics strategies across Australia Post assets
  • Lead the end-to-end Digital Analytics optimisation and product recommendations from stakeholder consultation, optimisation setup/delivery, testing and final reporting
  • Be an effective storyteller, building dashboards and presenting insights that reflect the broader customer experience in line with our KPIs
  • Grow and govern our optimisations, product recommendation and analytics capability
  • Identify and prioritise business requests whilst managing the expectations of stakeholders with lower priority requests

What are we looking for?

  • In-depth experience with one or more digital analytics and optimisation/experimentation platforms e.g. Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Google Analytics, Google Optimize and Optimizely. Preferably within a large complex enterprise
  • Experience with defining and maintaining AB and MVT experiments, personalisation, and product recommendations
  • Experience with analysing the digital customer journey and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Experience with using optimisations to improve revenue, improve customer experience and KPI conversions on ecommerce websites
  • Experience with agile ways of working such as scrum
  • Excellent organisational / time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and process thinking combining business acumen commercial awareness
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
