What does the role involve?

Reporting to the “General Manager, Data Science”, you’re responsible for building robust systems and operational platforms to support the business, with a focus on privacy and government compliance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You’ll be an accomplished leader who is able to build a business in a specialised and complex industry, navigate consumer and stakeholder sensitivity in an immature industry across all elements of business, and product development is essential.
You’ll also have the responsibility to

• Build robust systems and operational platforms to support the business, with a focus on privacy and government compliance and delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Grow the Data Commercialisation business within an immaterial industry and to build a business in a specialised and complex industry, navigate consumer and stakeholder sensitivity
• Set the Data Commercialisation strategy, with support from Executive and Board levels
• Drive significant change at all levels from Board and Executive down in an immature, but growing industry
• Build on the existing portfolio of products, expand and innovate into platforms and analytics services
• Lead sales engagement and strategies for both direct & indirect channels
• Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships in the market with customers and data partners

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 10-15 years post-graduate experience in corporate product and marketing roles
• Leadership experience in data commercialization, product development, channel, and market strategies
• Appropriate tertiary qualification(s) in marketing, business, and/or commerce are required
• Marketing/Market Research/Project Management exposure
• Knowledge of innovative techniques and new product development methodologies
