What does the role involve?
Reporting to the “Head of Leasing & Property Management”, you’ll be managing and delivering medium to high complexity leasing transactions in the logistics and industrial sector and support other types of transactions/work programs as assigned. You’ll provide high-quality strategic real estate advice to internal clients whilst also delivering accommodation solutions aligned to the current and future Enterprise and Strategic Network Plans.

You will also see yourself:

  • Developing leasing/program requirements with our internal customers to source and deliver a fit for purpose network
  • Managing and delivering Enterprise rollouts to enable customer-centric facilities and operations
  • Obtaining market information, landlord proposals, advising on drafting lease documents, negotiating transactions
  • Facilitating alignment and coordination with the relevant Group Property streams in the end to end Leasing / Construction / Facilities Management site delivery
  • Working with Legal and Head of Leasing, drafting all offers and related lease documentation using Australia Post templates and proformas, ensuring accuracy and alignment to the business case and/or endorsed Strategy
  • Providing Continuous improvement in process and delivery methodology for the execution of corporate projects/initiatives
  • Involve in working/steering groups and PCB’s on relevant rollouts/programs.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to Head of Leasing, GM Property, and key stakeholder groups
  • Maintaining an active external network to ensure strategic thinking is brought into the business around all leasing matters

 

What are we looking for?

  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline (i.e. Property, Business, or related field)
  • Significant experience in the industrial property profession/environment with a national focus and/or automated freight and logistics/distribution background
  • Knowledge of Property, Leasing, Project Management, best practice processes, and operations within a Corporate Real Estate setting
  • Strong interpretive skills and technical experience in relation to Industrial leases & markets, and leasing matters
  • Experience in sourcing, negotiating and procuring freight and logistics/distribution warehouses, including integrated automation solutions
  • Broad understanding in relation to Project delivery (Construction) and Facilities Management.
  • Established network within Industrial property market of landlords and agents
