This is an opportunity to build and develop a DevOps practice, lead a high-performing platform, and shape its future. Work with and develop a team of DevOps engineers growing their knowledge and skillset. Help maintain existing business-critical infrastructure, whilst recommending alternative designs and improvements.  Work with and develop a team of DevOps engineers growing their knowledge and skillset. Enhance and further embed DevOps culture within in the team and across wider delivery teams. 

What you'll be doing: 

• Drive and develop cloud technologies and the strategy behind them
• Keep stakeholders engaged and up to date with changes to the cloud environment(s). EG. Software Engineering, Product, Risk, Operations, and Architecture
• Provides leadership, mentoring and development opportunities for the DevOps culture in the SecurePay/POLi and broader P&FS group
• Assist in the formation of a Cross-Functional DevOps team to the various products in the business
• Removes technical impediments to successful delivery for releases in the engineering group

What we're looking for: 

• Broad experience in systems automation, orchestration, deployment, and implementation at a large-scale
• Exposure to running production workload in AWS ( AWS Infrastructure (EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, KMS, Dynamo DB, RDS, ELB, API Gateway, Cloud Formation)
