About the role  

As a Postal Delivery Officer (PDO), you’ll start your early mornings sorting mail before you go out and deliver on your Electric Pushbike in all types of weather. 

To do that, you’ll need: 

• To successfully pass our mandatory and practical riding assessment 
• A great memory and hand/eye co-ordination to sort the mail 
• To be fit enough to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly 
• To meet our Electric Pushbike safe working load limit of weighing 115kgs or less 
• Hold a current Australian motorcycle licence – you may be required to operate an electric delivery vehicle

What we are looking for?  

• A friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who enjoys interacting with others 
• Someone who enjoys early morning starts, and can be counted on to deliver mail to where it needs to go 
• The flexibility to put in extra hours if required 
• A Team player 
• A commitment to Australia Post’s Occupational Health and Safety standards 

Salary for this role is $50,697 plus 12% super per annum upon completion of 3 months service and 15% loading.
