The Business, Government & International team manages Australia Post’s most important corporate, government and business customers, and consists of a diverse team of sales managers, account managers, solution architects, product specialists and other specialist sales support functions who collectively manage existing customer relationships and drive significant revenue growth

The eCommerce economy is growing at a rapid pace, and Australian businesses, consumers and the broader community require services that are relevant to how they live and work today – providing greater delivery and fulfilment options to the customer and consumer in the future.

 
 

Australia Post’s Fulfilio (the eCommerce fulfilment 3PL business of Australia Post) has experienced incredible growth and change over the last 3-4 years and is now requiring new expertise and support in adapting it’s products and services, in fact it’s whole commercial business model, to meet customers’ expectations and demands.

The Pricing & Yield Analyst Commercial Analyst will report into the Senior Commercial (Pricing & Yield) Manager with a focus on delivering strong commercial outcomes within Australia Post’s Fulfilio (the eCommerce fulfilment 3PL business of Australia Post).

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing quality pricing and analytical support for the business, both for new and existing customers
  • Identifying and implementing yield improvement opportunities across the business
  • Supporting and managing the annual price review and price initiatives
  • Supporting and leading the contract management process for existing customers
  • Regular reporting on yield improvement results and benefits
  • Reconciliation of revenue against warehouse and delivery costs at customer level to support the customer profitability work through insights and analysis
  • Understanding of the end to end process for Delivery and Fulfilment (3PL) and how the activities impact revenue and cost
  • Ad-hoc customer and business reporting
  • Working with various stakeholders across Australia Post & Startrack including operations and CX teams, sales, onboarding, contract deal enablement, internal pricing teams and account managers.  

 

What experience will you have?

We’re looking for candidates with demonstrated high level financial, analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to use systems to correlate and sift data from a wide variety of sources and develop an understanding of business performance based on this data

  • Minimum 3-years’ experience in analyst or equivalent roles in the supply chain and logistics industry
  • Experience with analytical and reporting software (e.g. MS Excel and Tableau) in a large organisation, together with high level PC skills and experience with data analysis software
  • High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised, with proven ability to manage multiple activities and competing demands
  • Data analysis techniques
  • Oversight of product pricing strategies and in-life product performance e.g. sales, margin, churn, volume
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage competing and changing priorities
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to identify and forecast business performance trends
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence to express views openly and respectfully at all levels with professionalism
