The Solution Designer is responsible for the design of technical solutions for imaging, data capture and business process automation (including effort estimation). Other responsibilities include active participation in the response to requests for tender and proposals including effort estimation. The Solution Designer is the key point of liaison for client technical personnel and is a key participant in the response to requests for tender/proposal. The Information Technology department is accountable for challenging the status quo through innovative thinking and the generation and implementation of efficient and effective solutions for Decipha and its clients.

What does the role involve:

  • Working on data capture and document imaging initiatives 
  • Working with customers on their digital solutions, responding to tenders and helping price solutions 
  • Present showcases, new innovations and ideas to clients during customer demonstrations
  • Working closely with development teams to prototype new concepts, assist capability and contribute technically to solutions 

What we're looking for: 

Ideally, this candidate will have had experience in software development before making the move towards solution design. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will have strong experience working closely with clients and providing technical expertise during customer demonstrations. It would be great if this person has had experience with any of the following technologies: 

  • Microsoft stack, ideally .NET, C#, VB, MS SQL and Azure 
  • Demonstrated commercial IT experience encompassing system design, system development, communications, security and system testing
  • Experience with BPM technologies and/or process automation 
  • Strong problem solving skills

If you have any experience with Kofax, Readsoft, ICR, OCR, OMR or any barcode capture applications that would be a plus!
