What does the role involve?

Based in Melbourne or Sydney, the Program Business Manager’s role is to support the Operations Manager and facilities to coordinate administrative, support and data related activities within their program of work, focussing on consulting, testing, monitoring and reporting on the planned transformational change program. On a daily basis this role will see you:

  • Support and implement efficiency strategies by coordinating support activity that achieves outcomes
  • Review and analyse data that leads to the identification and strategies to enhance customer, quality and cost outcomes
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure effective and efficient utilisation of systems, procedures and reporting.
  • Provide troubleshooting support and skills to sites on a needs basis to ensure the success of processing efficiency programs.
  • Partner with Territory leaders to translate first and last mile strategy into implementation plans that include, timelines, stakeholder engagement, communications and tracking of realisation of outcomes.
  • Proactively engage with facility teams to identify efficiency opportunities, gather feedback on implementation and collaborate on issue resolution

What experience will you have?

We’re looking for a candidate who is flexible and can support the Territory Manager and facilities in a range of areas including recruitment, time and attendance and coordination of training. In addition to this, you will ideally have;

  • In depth knowledge and experience working in a supply chain/ manufacturing environment with operational processes
  • Has worked in a large, multi-division organisation with well-defined process, protocols and authority levels
  • Experience supporting change in a large, complex organisation with tight deadlines
  • Strong written skills for Governance and Compliance
  • Strong administration and Project Management experience
