What does the role involve?

Based in Melbourne, the Head of Prioritisation and Governance works across Service Quality and all relevant stakeholders (including but not limited to the following teams: Australia Post Deliveries, Star Track, Network Operations, Business & Government) to lead the prioritisation roadmap and overall governance of targets, across a balanced scorecard. This role will have one direct report who will support in delivering on the prioritisation initiatives. On a daily basis this role will see you:

  • Join the Senior Leadership team in supporting the GM Service Quality to integrate all areas of the team towards a common culture and goal
  • Partner with, and drive, the  Service Quality Senior Leadership and equivalent stakeholders to provide a robust prioritisation framework and adherance to targets, owning the governance programme
  • Lead the creation and governance of a roadmap of priorities to drive sustainable improvements in Service Quality
  • Drive a culture of passion for the cause, tenacity and resilience to focus as much on Operational partnerships as delivering outcomes.
  • Drive a best in class centre of excellence for prioritisation and governance, that is both a supporter function to and conscience of the Operation



What experience will you have?

We’re looking for candidates that have the demonstrated energy and drive to bring stakeholders together and engage them on the prioritisation roadmap journey. In addition to this, you will ideally have;

  • Extensive experience driving Prioritisation and Governance frameworks across multi-tiered, complex organizational stakeholder landscape
  • Previous experience in a logistics / transportation environment will be well regarded but is not essential
  • Highly adept skills in managing to all levels of an Organisation and a true believer in collaboration in a complex stakeholder hierarchy
  • Strong understanding of prioritization and governance methodologies, leveraging fact based data and translating these in to actionable and target based change.
