What will you be doing?

In this national and enterprise wide role, you’ll provide leadership and direction to a team of 2 Talent Acquisition Consultants and 6 Talent Acquisition Business Partners, in order to create a positive experience for our stakeholders.

You’ll be leading a talented team of recruiters, in our newly transformed service model while partnering with recruitment managers to understand the talent pipelines within the Services business.  This will not only shape the growth of the TA function but give you the opportunity to network with various stakeholders and foster your professional development.

You’ll also be:

  • Leading, planning and managing the delivery of strategic and operational TA initiatives and the wider HR function
  • Promotes awareness of TA service offerings, in particular for the recruitment of external candidates
  • Leading the team to deliver end to end recruitment process, while applying optimal resourcing strategies
  • Manage and facilitate the development of TA projects including the development of idea briefs and business case documents
  • Influence and build strong partnerships / relationships with key contributors, stakeholders and sponsors across all stakeholder groups / levels
  • Implementing change programs and leading the team through change
  • Accountable for labour and initiative budgets for portfolio to ensure financial targets are met
  • Provides leadership and direction to all direct reports, developing and promoting collaboration and cooperation within the team and with stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:

  • Management experience is essential, but we need more than a manager, we need a strong leader that leads by example and creates a positive and collaborative team environment to drive performance and ownership
  • Demonstrable experience driving continuous improvement, projects and change in a complex matrixed business
  • A strong operational recruitment background in white collar and high volume environments
  • A proactive and resilient mindset, because there will be challenges that need to be overcome and problems that need to be solved
  • Exceptional communication skills and an ability to effectively foster effective relationships
