Delivery of domestic letters generates approximately $2.2b in revenue managed by the Mail Products team. At a high level, the Mail Products team is responsible for product and pricing strategies that minimise volume decline but maximise revenue and operational efficiency. Key functions include; product analysis, planning and pricing, product and channel development and promotion, managing the interface with the Australia Post network and managing the relationship with the regulator (the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC)) and key industry associations.
About the role
Responsible for implementing projects within Mail Products and across the enterprise. This is a varied role, and at any time, the occupant may be working on a number of activities and projects across the team involving a broad range of internal and external stakeholders (customers and industry partners). As such, the individual needs to be flexible, organised, disciplined, and focused on execution. Projects are generally cross-functional. As such, significant experience working on projects with multiple stakeholders is mandatory.
Main responsibilities include:• Execute specific programs of work (e.g. Product Simplification and Harmonisation project) and other projects as prioritised • Identify the appropriate analysis required, develop insights and provide sound commercial recommendations into strategic initiatives • Excellent communication skills required for leadership team updates, reports and working sessions including drafting papers for Board, Executive Team, Product & Innovation and Mail Products team. • Identify opportunities for product development / enhancement and exit based on market/company trends, commercially evaluate and provide recommendations as required • Analyse and determine budget requirements for specific projects • Prepare and present financial reports (e.g. cost and revenue) for specific projects / initiatives

We are looking for a person who has developed a broad set of business skills across product/marketing disciplines and project delivery.
To be successful in the role you will need to have proven experience in providing accurate analysis for commercial recommendations, reporting for leadership presentations and updates and have delivered major initiatives on time and within budget. You will also have demonstrated experience managing complex projects in a large organisation with multiple stakeholders.
