What's the job involve?

Under the leadership of an inspiring Executive Manager, you'll play a crucial part in our future by leading change activities for the implementation of key strategic programs sponsored by the Executive General Manager of Product and Innovation.

  • Develop, implement and manage various strategic change; including a new operating model for implementation of strategic price changes, and implementing key recommendations for product and portfolio simplification
  • Establish a regular ‘operating rhythm’ that creates timely opportunities for Postal Sales, Marketing and product colleagues to share ideas, develop solutions, identify opportunities for improvement
  • Oversee program of work including the monitoring and escalation of key issues and blockers
  • Chair or facilitate group discussions and forums as required in project plan/operating rhythm
  • Capture and drive the application of learning from PIR’s, Voice of Customer research, customer feedback and customer successes,
  • Identify opportunities for closer alignment of business units through developing key relationships
  • Implement best practice program management approaches (agile and waterfall)
  • Closely manage key product, pricing, and strategy relationships to identify and broker collaboration opportunities in line with business strategy
  • Ensure all stakeholders understand and adhere to the new operating model and expectations at each key stage

What we're looking for:

  • Experience developing and embedding plans/processes that reinforce collaboration and achievement of customer outcomes
  • Experience supporting improved customer experience through the development/enhancement/refinement of a new sales operating model
  • Experience delivering change programs in a retail or go to market context
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management principles and techniques
  • Excellent proficiency at producing standard program management deliverables such as project plan, implementation planning, risk & issue reporting
  • Professional Project management Certification (PMBOK, PMP, SAFE, Lean)
  • Knowledge and experience working in Agile/Lean delivery highly regarded
  • Business, Commerce or related degree
  • Demonstrated influencing and negotiating skills with Heads of and General Managers regarding collaboration, customer priorities  and resources
  •  Influencing and delivering outcomes, at times without authority, in a large organisation
  • Building a strong customer mindset in a complex functional organisation
  • Alignment of skills and capability to the most appropriate project/assignment
