What's the job involve?

Our Payments and Financial Services team has recently had a makeover and there are a range of opportunities to join the team! We are currently on the search for 2 x Product Managers to oversee the end to end product lifecycle of the Acquiring Services products.

Under the leadership of an inspiring Senior Product Manager you'll play a crucial part in our future by rebuilding and reimagining the consumer financial services portfolio. Led by strong customer insights as well as leveraging market & industry knowledge the roles are focused on the development and execution of short to mid-term product strategies, using agile development methodologies, to deliver key customer and financial objectives.

  • Develop and drive overall product strategy, product plans and business cases to support product related investments.
  • Manage the deployment of product initiatives and campaigns
  • Oversee and influence the quality of operational product management activities including, issue management, business rules, policy maintenance and supporting service standards
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing representatives to inform and validate product related decisions and influence commercially significant sales opportunities
  • Lead forums that drive greater customer and market awareness to drive desired customer experience metrics and commercial results
  • Quantify market and product opportunities through strong segment and channel analysis
  • Provide financial forecasting, budget management and reporting for respective products
  • Provide demand, revenue and cost forecasts for associated products
  • Ensure all product development and enhancements are economically viable
  • Utilise and leverage existing assets and resources to extract maximum value from existing product and service offerings
  • Lead the development and presentation of commercial business cases to both extend current product capability as well as for innovative solutions within changing market dynamics
  • Accountable for margin and cash flow analysis relating to existing and new product and service offerings

What we're looking for:

  • Extensive experience in a related role within an insurance/financial environment
  • Experience in product strategy, development, promotion and end to end management
  • Experience working within an Agile environment
  • Demonstrated experience driving and evolving a product using various innovative channels
  • Experience in business development – including customer negotiations, bids, contracts and joint business reviews
  • Experience managing financial reports and P&L statements
  • An ability to interpret complex market analysis, research and feedback
  • Knowledge of the industry, trends and competitive landscape
  • An understanding of product design, development and implementation processes (B2B or B2C)
  • Deep understanding of the product levers that drive profitability and cost structure
  • Innovative customer solution conceptualisation and building
  • Tertiary degree or qualifications in business, marketing or a related field
  • Proven experience / involvement in developing ‘leading edge' commercially sound customer/product strategies
  • Strong track record of delivering against a product road map and realising the forecasted benefits
