Lead the day-to-day co-ordination and preparation of accurate, timely and professional performance reporting, annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. You’ll assist in analysis of key drivers of business performance and performing ad hoc financial analysis and tasks for the Product & Innovation (P&I) SLT.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work as part of a team responsible for all aspects of performance reporting, annual budget setting & quarterly forecast preparation, and profitability analysis for Product & Innovation
  • Manage and co-ordinate month end reporting requirements and accurate weekly revenue estimates by working with Finance Business Partners across the wider team
  • Manage and co-ordinate planning & forecasting requirements, in particular understanding and challenging budget & forecast assumptions, reviewing consolidation of movement schedules and associated commentary
  • Build an understanding of marginal profitability, and support its use with analysis based reporting
  • Work in combination with your peer Performance Manager to:
    • Manage all instructions, guidelines and timetables to meet required deadlines
    • Consolidate and prepare the P&I group management reporting that focuses on delivering insight and value to users.
    • Consolidate and prepare the P&I group annual budget & quarterly forecasts, together with associated packs and supporting analysis for senior P&I stakeholders
    • Measure and track the KPIs of P&I and proactively manage areas of risk with relevant FBPs
  • Collaborate and build relationships with key customers & stakeholders of varying levels within P&I and cross functionally to gather critical information & insights
  • Actively shape continuous improvements in ways of working, including playing a key role in implementing finance wide changes to data and toolsets
  • Coach and develop skills and analytical capabilities of senior analysts in the team
