About the role

We’re looking for someone to join the International team to be accountable for the acquisition and growth of new inbound and outbound parcels revenue for customers located within Australia. By providing deep industry specialist knowledge and expertise you will identify, qualify, propose, negotiate and close complex inbound and outbound opportunities for the International Products in the B2C and B2B channels.


Day-to-day, you will:

  • Ensure that opportunities are progressed through the sales process to closure, maximising deal size, conversion and time to trade.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders and professionals to be self-sufficient in identifying, qualifying, proposing and closing simple deals
  • Championing the creation of customer centric international solutions through the product, marketing, pricing, commercial, and service and operations teams. 


    Other aspects of the job include:

  • Diagnose needs in line with client strategy and corporate objectives
  • Gather international market intelligence and feed this back to the solutions development group.  Based on market intelligence, work with the segment owners to develop solutions to meet customer needs
  • Work with the segment owners on developing the international pipeline and ensuring campaign activity achieves sales goals
  • Generate incremental international annual traded revenue
  • Develop, maintain and progress an international sales pipeline
  • Work with the International solutions team to put together solutions that meets the client’s needs and is commercially acceptable to both the customer and Australia Post
  • Develop workflows and processes within salesforce.com to surface the right opportunities at the right time to relevant stakeholders.
  • Retention of existing accounts
