About the team

Creativity and strategic thinking come naturally to our International Product team. It’s their job to improve our products, customer service, generate new business and grow our revenue streams. To do that, they will work closely with our Marketing, SMB, Operational and Sales teams.

 

About the role

You’ll manage areas of the International Business segment with a particular focus on International Returns and specific New Zealand products.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Stay on top of any issues, business rules, policy updates, retail communications and respond to queries that come in for  the international products.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to attract new customers and be involved with major campaigns. You’ll also work with partners like Austrade to expand our exports and collaborate with the Chief Customer Officer to improve our international customer service.
  • Conduct and analyse market research, and find new opportunities to grow our international portfolio.

Other aspects of the job include:

  • Developing the SMB segment and strategy roadmap.
  • Meeting your segment’s revenue, profit, volume and growth targets
  • Developing the Business Hub roadshow programme by:
    • Preparing a presentation pack and other collateral for an ongoing series of international presentation evenings at business hubs.
    • Encouraging other members of the international team to be involved.
    • Presenting at the Business Hub roadshows.

You’ll be reporting to our International Senior Segment Manager.

 

What are we looking for?

Ideally, you’ll have a degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Attention to detail and problem solving are your strong suits, and you can speak and write with clarity. Having a strategic mind with plenty of drive is also a big plus for a job with tight deadlines.

You understand market trends and know how to crunch data. Above all, you can pinpoint important aspects of customer experiences and turn that insight into tangible benefits for us and our customers.
