Our Financial Services product portfolio is on the lookout for a Product Support Manager to join the Cash Solutions & Insurance areas

What's the job involve?

You’ll be part of the financial services product portfolio, which works with all areas of the business to protect Australia Post’s assets, optimise performance and support the organisation’s transformation growth.  

You’ll play a key part for supporting the delivery effective product lifecycle programs in line with the strategic objectives of the business that delivers the expected customer and commercial outcomes. Bringing deep market & industry insights this role is focused on the supporting the execution of product strategies across the product portfolio.  Led by strong customer insights and working in an agile environment with key stakeholders to significantly improve our customer proposition, driving improved NPS and product performance that will support the delivery of customer and financial objectives.

• Provide customer insights and market awareness to drive desired customer experience metrics and commercial results
Support the creation and delivery of the product strategy.
• Support the deployment of product related initiatives and campaigns.
• Support on boarding new customers and expanding existing customer service offerings.
• Support customer/consumer Product Marketing and ensure strong engagement with product management
• Manage the day to day product administration activities including, issue management, policy maintenance, and general product related queries.
• Develop recommendations for product enhancement, rationalisation or simplification based on market insights.
• Provide sales and service support as agreed.
• Generate Sales, Marketing and product insights underpinned by market research to support decision making
• Conduct segment and channel analysis to generate insights for the broader product team 
Partner with other supporting functions, like operations, risk, customer experience and market insights 
• Provide demand, revenue and cost forecasts for associated product (s), in line with Australia Posts’ Financial reporting processes 
• Assist in commercial negotiates to support key business activities and contract renewals

What we're looking for:

• Experience in developing, supporting and launching products
• Experience in marketing products
• Experience of analysing complex data to infer commercial insights
• Demonstrated experience in identifying and pursuing viable commercial opportunities
• Project management and coordination
• Some understanding of financial services products, preferably banking.
• Understanding of multi-disciplinary project work. Experience in Agile methodologies preferred.
• Awareness of Product Management Disciplines
• Knowledge of product value chain levers
• Understanding of how to optimise business outcomes by leveraging systems, processes, networks and people across the business
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in a business discipline
